My family and I love liver but this one had an odd taste. The taste is not subtle it’s very strong to the taste buds. I do not recommend this at all. I’m always happy with grasslands products but this one was really bad. Stick with beef instead. Wish I can get credit back..

I eat liver 3-4 * per week along with Liverwurst. This liver is so good. Simply made it in butter, some mushrooms, added some garlic, pinch of cayenne pepper, ginger and sea salt. Magnificent! Oh, by the way, the fact they are cut into smaller pieces is awesome. Please keep doing so. Much easier to prepare.

This lamb liver might surprise you in that it’s a lighter and more delicate flavor than the beef liver. While I expected it to have a more gamey lamb taste, I don’t detect that at all... but that may just be my palate. (It also could be less strong because I eat it raw. Yeah, I know, you may be totally grossed out now....) The tender texture and subtle flavor reminds me of foie gras. If you’re looking to expand your intake of organ meats, it’s well worth trying some lamb organ meats. The lamb kidney is similarly more delicately flavored than the beef kidney and has almost a floral taste.
