I've never had a "Delmonico" steak (that I know of). I order from several other grass fed/finished farms and new here and I'm impressed with the customer service and product quality. Try different methods to cook these steaks: BBQ, Sous Vide, Instant Pot, or simply slow / low pan fried. It's all good!

Great flavor and very tender for how thick these were, so plan on a longer cooking time. Only complaint is lots of bone volume so there was considerable weight in waste. We also have bought bone-in and boneless rib-eye steaks so if you don't want to deal with the bone, the rib-eye is also excellent.
What it came down to on our 'star' rating of 5 stars was the great taste - that's what we buy steak for - flavor.

Delmonico Steak is delicious
The delmonico steak is one of my favorite steaks, along with the ribeye. It is very flavorful and tender.

i've never seen a strip steak called a delmonico? before
in ny a delmonico is a ribeye. or at least at 'delmonico's' restaurant in manhattan, it is, and that is where the name comes from. when i was growing up in ny, if you went to the butcher and asked for delmonicos' you were given ribeyes, in fact when i moved out of state for college was the first time i saw the steak called ribeye. in ny the steak you have in your picture is a ny strip. i'm sure it tastes great, what ever you are calling it, but being a ny'er i had to say something.
