bough this and have zero regrets! I made Bolognese sauce and I couldn't tell the difference between plain old ground beef and this awesome mix. Great way to get your organ meats in if you have a hard time!

This is perfect for anyone that wants to ease liver and other organ meats into their diet. Great flavor that will lend itself to anything you normally is ground beef for. Looking forward to killer meatball/meatloaf.

Mixed feelings about this
IMHO it smells REALLY bad, the taste is so-so (and I happen to love kidney, liver and heart by themselves). It doesn't cook well IMHO; you'll get a nice sear on the outsides, but the insides seem to refuse to cook, so unless you're okay eating it pretty much raw on the inside (like myself), you will not like this. Me personally, I'd rather eat all these meats separately.

My new favorite wellness product!
I'm actually a big fan of liver but heart and kidney are a different story. This is a great way to get all three into your diet. I take about one third of a pound, brown it up and toss it in with my eggs in the morning. Delicious.

I know the nutritional benefits of organ meats and I have desperately wanted to find a way I could get these benefits without the gagging! No matter what I have tried I have not been able to get past the taste. This has been my answer. I mix a pound of this with a pound of ground beef and it becomes palatable. So far I have used it in taco meat, chili, and a Korean beef recipe. My kids have no idea, and I don't notice either. I am thankful it is a workable option for getting even a little organ meat into my diet.

I know all the benefits of organ meat, but just couldn't figure out how to stomach it. Took a chance and actually made burgers on the grill with this product. The raw texture is definitely soft and more moist. I didn't know what to expect so I cooked them a little longer than I would a normal burger and and they tasted just fine. Very happy to get this in to my diet.

This is such a great idea to easily incorporate organ meats to your diet. Made chili, and the difference was unnoticeable besides more health benefits!

I really appreciate the nutritional contents of this grind and because of it, I wanted to be pleased with it.
However, after cooking several pounds of it, I found that the consistency was different than a traditional grind and it didn't taste the way a normal burger does.
It's not awful but certainly not what I expected especially after eating organ grinds from local farms like White Oak Pastures.

this is absolutely delish!.. I make it in a pan like sloppy joe with a few seasonings or sauce, typically low carb. In order to make a burger it seems to be too soft and mushy so I would mix it half and half with 85% ground beef. It is just a great feeling to know that the different combo of organ meats make this mixture a real superfood!!

I was really looking forward to this product. I bought 3 packages. I highly enjoy organ meats, but this I couldn't palate it. Once it hit the pan the smell of old urine filled the room. Since I was making tacos, I was hoping extra seasoning would help mask the smell. No luck. But even worse was the taste. How do you process the kidneys? Do you soak them before grinding them?
I am just bummed that I now will have to throw away 3 lbs of meat. Waste of money.

Ground beef with liver, heart and kidney
My order arrived today in perfect condition. Four pounds went straight into the freezer and the fifth became tonight’s taco bowl. Oh, my goodness! It was so delicious! I will most certainly be ordering this again.
