Dogs love this!
I've been buying this consistently for about 2 years now, so it's about time I review it.

Woof woof yummy
Our dogs eat nearly anything when we mix some of this with it! They love it and it seems quite tasty to them.

meat balls
My gsds do not do well on raw meat. I half cook 2 pkgs at a time by making the meat into small balls.
refrigerate and place a few on top of their quality kibble. Sometimes use a small dash of bone broth also.

KAOS likes it!
My cat is indoor/outdoor, and catches and eats a lot of rodents on her own. She likes this as an occasional change from canned food. I see it's grass-fed and assume it's organic also…?

Very healthy for pets
I think this is mostly for dogs, but my cat loves it. It contains beef heart, which is very healthy for cats. Healthy fat for a cat, too. But if your cat isn't accustomed to raw meat, it might not be interested. It smells a little bit like really expensive bologna, and a little bit like deviled ham. Even I find it appealing, but of course I wouldn't eat it. Sweetie the Cat might not forgive me.

A Staple in My Dog's Diet
I used to buy US Wellness pet burger and make my own mixtures by cooking the meat and adding veggies and some kind of carbohydrate. He loved it! Recently, I started feeding him raw meat. He is always ready with "fork in hand" as I set it out to warm up a bit before feeding. I follow that with his grain-free dry food. I alternate between the Pet Burger and the Ground Chicken Backs from US Wellness Meats. He loves it. This meat is firm and I try to break it up a bit before feeding. Very good to have such quality available for our boy.

My Dog Went Bonkers!
I have a sweet old chap I rescued a few years ago... not sure of his age, but he is definitely a toddling senior.
For his dinner, he gets a little ball of ground meat heated with his kibble, splashed with a bit of beef broth. Well. He has always liked it well enough... but THIS?
Oh my.
His dinner hour is now HAPPY hour! I didn't know he could make such sounds of rapture and pleasure... teehee it is adorable to watch him wolf this down as he sings! Well it is not singing of course, but his little cute noises sound a lot to me like "Yum! Oh, YUM! Yes, this is YUMMY yum! Coo coo oh yes I LOVE this!" Grunting and sort of mewing and burbling in total delight.
I love your goodies too, but now the fur kid gets his share. Glad I took a shot and gave this a shot!

Excellent Source of Healthy Fat and Minerals
I discovered Pet Burger after looking for ways to get organ meat in our diet (without having to taste it). I considered grinding up organ meat and mixing it with ground beef, but U.S. Wellness Meats was way ahead of me! All the work is done! This Pet Burger is labeled "not for human consumption" due to the high fat content, but the fat is what makes it super healthy (in addition to all the minerals the organ meat provides). Our government has their nutritional understanding wrong on so many levels, but U.S. Wellness Meats has it right! We love adding Cajun or taco seasoning and leaving all the fat in, Very tasty, and you would never know you're eating organ meat. Thanks for providing this supremely healthy product!

Dogs Love It!
Easy for me - to prepare. I was feeding it raw, but realized the dogs love it better cooked rare. So I just stick it in the convection over for 10 minutes and they get very excited.
I have 3 medium-large extremely active dogs. My oldest is almost 11, but people think he is 3 or 4 yo. They are all thriving on this food, which I mix in with a high quality middle and broth for economy.

Great addition to my dog's diet
First - my dogs love this stuff. I usually serve it in a bowl alongside a few chicken necks. They wolf it down in the blink of an eye.
Second - the packaging is great - so much better than a tube of meat.

The dog has to share..with me.
My dog and I both love USWM pet burger. I know that liver is good for me but this is an easy way to get it and some of the other "odd bits" without actually having to eat them.
I'm not too proud to eat "dog food" in this case. My dog and I both have high standards. :) He is a service dog still going strong at 14.
BTW, great change recently in the packaging. The square blocks are easier to store than the round tubes.

I was prepared to like it, BUT
I ordered 10 pkgs. My outdoor cat refuses to touch it, even when I have tiny pieces hidden in his regular raw. He literally picks out the tiny pieces and leaves them. My 2 dogs eat it, but only with great reluctance. They walk away several times. I have been feeding raw, grain-free, nightshade free food to all my pets for many years. I have never had such a problem. The meat did not smell bad, or look discolored. It was completely frozen when it arrived.
Fortunately, I had also ordered 10 lbs. of the ground duck. They love that.

Great Raw Food for My Cat
I've never fed anything but raw meat to my 10-year old cat. She loves this Pet Burger, but only if I add extra beef liver to the mix. She eats it every day.
