Just like a good cheddar should be
Early on I was so disappointed that all the cheddars made from raw milk were white and not orange, until I found out that storebought cheddars are only orange because they have food coloring added! Tillamook at least uses Annatto for a coloring agent, but the milk they make their cheese from is probably bad for you - pasturized and homogenized from grainfed cows.
I've tried several of the cheeses US Wellness offers, and I like them all, but for all around use this cheddar is my favorite. It's especially nice because it's hard enough to hold up to a grater, but soft enough for cheese slices to nibble on or grill on sourdough. And the flavor is just perfect.
