these were full of fat and had very little muscle meat. I braised them for myself and for my senior dogs and did not feel comfortable feeding them to my dogs given then excessive fat levels. I am used to cooking bison shank which is not like this. Lesson learned. will not be reordering.
FROM USWM: Thank you for your valued feedback. Bison is an inherently leaner animal than beef, however, we would never expect such a high amount of fat that you wouldn't want to use the product. Dogs tolerate fat very well, especially 100% grass fed and finished, and we understand that you can still overdo it. I kindly ask you reach out to our customer service department for additional assistance with your issue. We will not leave you at a loss and look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you.
