This is the poorest quality meat (lamb or beef) we have ever come across. First off, we noticed immediately the packages were very flat and lacked the plumpness that great quality lamb should have. The color is very dark red, indicating age/oxidation (a red flag for anyone with histamine isses.) It seemed like the meat had been frozen for quite awhile and lacked an expiration date. Thawed two packages for dinner and upon opening them, realized one of the packages was punctured and open. We discarded that one, opened the other and immediately noticed how soggy and lifeless the texture is. Decided to cook it up to inspect the quality further. Completely odorless and crumbly. Not good. Needless to say we discarded that package, also and will not be giving this meat another shot. Unfortunate because we ordered this meat through Dr. Mercola's website, as we trust his recommendations. My partner and I both have autoimmune disfunction and histamine intolerance so we are extremely mindful about meat quality. Although we dislike leaving a poor review, we feel it's important for health-conscious consumers to know what they're getting into before ordering this product.
