My grandmother used to make these for us along with eggs and toast for breakfast.
When I sliced these in half to clean the inside, I was surprised to find there was really very little to trim, and it was just a bit of fat. Also, they had no odor, whatsoever.
A quick saute in olive oil and s small amount of ghee (or butter), and they were perfect.
These will be a definite repeat purchase!
